This module supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Screen Mirroring with lag-free, stable performance. It connects automatically to the last paired device within 5ā10 seconds after starting the car.
All original controls are fully supported, including steering wheel buttons, the iDrive controller, cameras and more. You can switch between the original BMW system and the CarPlay interface by holding the "MENU" button near the iDrive knob.

For microphone quality, calls work through your car's existing microphone with no change in quality. If your vehicle doesn't have a built-in microphone, an external microphone is included in the kit so hands-free calling works perfectly.
