Apple CarPlay & Android Auto FAQ
What's in the box?

The module, a plug & play wiring harness, and a full installation guide. Everything you need is included. We also provide a free set of trim removal tools with every order.
Which cables do I need to connect?

The main power harness and LVDS video cable are always required. AUX and microphone cables are only needed if your car doesn't support Bluetooth audio. Camera cables are optional and only needed if adding an aftermarket camera.
How do I set up audio?


If your car supports Bluetooth audio - go to module Setup and select "Use Car's Bluetooth channel", then connect your phone to your car's Bluetooth as normal. If your car doesn't support Bluetooth audio - select AUX as the audio source on your system and audio will play through the speakers automatically from then on.
Can I still use FM / AM / CD while CarPlay is running?

Yes - CarPlay will still display visually on your screen. However, audio from CarPlay won't play while FM, AM or CD is selected as the audio source. Switch to Bluetooth or AUX to hear CarPlay sound.
Will my rear-view camera still work?

Yes. If the camera doesn't appear after installation, go to Settings → Reverse and select "Original" for factory cameras or "Aftermarket" for aftermarket cameras.
How do I switch between the original system and CarPlay?

Hold the MENU or BACK button, or use a steering wheel button depending on your vehicle. Switching is instant.
How do I connect my phone?

Open Bluetooth on your phone and connect to the device named CAR***. A prompt will appear to connect to CarPlay or Android Auto - confirm it. From then on your phone reconnects automatically every time you start the car, usually within 5–10 seconds.
Will my original controls and functions work?

Yes - steering wheel controls, factory menus, HUD, Bluetooth, radio, parking sensors and cameras all remain fully functional. The module integrates with your existing system without removing or replacing anything.
Does it work with my iPhone or Android?

Yes. The module supports all iPhones running iOS 9 or later and all Android devices running Android 11 or later.
