Which upgrade is right for me?

Some cars can be upgraded in more than one way. Depending on your vehicle and preferences, you may be able to choose between a plug & play module or a screen upgrade.

Both options add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto — the right choice depends on what you value most.

We’ll explain the difference so you can choose confidently.

CarPlay & Android Auto Module

A CarPlay module keeps your original factory screen and adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It integrates directly with your car’s existing system and works using factory buttons, knobs, and steering wheel controls.

Modules are plug & play, highly reliable, and designed to feel like a factory upgrade.

Best choice if:
You’re happy with your current screen and want maximum reliability with a clean, OEM look

Screen Upgrade (Linux-based system)

A screen upgrade replaces your original display with a newer, larger, and brighter touchscreen. The system itself is Linux-based and is designed to do the same core job as a module — display Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with support for AirPlay and screen mirroring.

Linux-based screens do not run apps like a tablet. Instead, they focus on stability, fast startup, and smooth CarPlay performance, while giving you a more modern display.

Best choice if:
Your original screen is small or outdated, and you want a newer touchscreen without sacrificing reliability.

Why we don’t offer Android multimedia screens

Both solutions add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but they are built with very different philosophies.

Purpose-built for CarPlay
Requires RAM / CPU specs to perform well
Needs frequent software updates
Boots fast every time
Long-term stability
Risk of lag over time
